Sliced Tetrahedron
2019 Acrylic 367mm x 450mm x 389mm This work was an exploration of the impossibility of euclidean geometry. The starting point for the piece was to take a fundamental euclidean solid and shell it, make it out of translucent material and slice the faces so that you could draw a consistent line around the form slicing it evenly on all sides. The impossibility of this task comes to light in the form. The work reflects and draws shadows that entrance the viewer.
